DAY AT SEA WITH

Travel

Hey Everyone,

It’s been so much fun sharing my pictures from Greece with you this week. As Melanie and I prepared to head back to Athens and then home, we thought we’d spend our last day at sea. We booked a sailing tour to the surrounding islands and volcano hot springs through Fantasy Travel, which was very easy. Our representative Efi came to the hotel, took our information and let us know what to expect. As I mentioned earlier this week, excursions can either be booked through your hotel or through the travel agency you booked your trip with.

Of course, for my day at sea I chose to wear another fabulous piece from. I wanted to wear a bikini this time since this trip would be on a smaller yacht. The Samba Rhythm Red Orange Off-The-Shoulder Dress was the perfect cover-up. I have to pause for a moment to say thank you to Lulu*s for providing me with such amazing pieces to take with me on this trip. They were very generous.

Here’s my look:

Unlike our sailing trip to Delos in Mykonos, this trip was WELL worth the 150€ we paid for it! We booked a semi-private tour which meant we would be onboard with 8 other people. The sailboat was the perfect size and it came complete with towels, drinks AND a chef! We sailed to the surrounding islands and were allowed to jump out to go swimming in the Aegean Sea when they dropped anchor. The views were BEYOND stunning! As we made our way to the volcano, we were once again allowed to go swimming. The closer you get to the volcano, the warmer the water gets.

Here are some shots:

After swimming, we had lunch…and BOY DID WE HAVE LUNCH! Our chef was the most amazing cook EVER! We had Pasta, Bread, Chicken, Pork, Calamari, Greek Salad, Yogurt Dip, an Eggplant dish and MORE! Simply put, it was the best food I had the entire time in Greece. Everything was fresh! I literally asked the chef if he wanted to come home to America with me after that meal. LOL! If you’re ever in Santorini you absolutely have to take the sailing tour because it’s so amazing! Our day at sea was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation, but we still had dinner at the hotel later on that night.

I thought I’d end the trip with the Dreamboat Come True Ivory and Navy Blue Striped Maxi Dress (from Lulu*s of course). This is such a romantic dress because it moves so well, blowing in the wind like you would see in a movie. It’s very comfortable and just long enough for me not to have to wear heels.

Here’s my look:

Well that’s all folks! I hope you enjoyed hearing my tales as much as I’ve loved telling them. This was an unforgettable trip. I can’t wait to share the details of my next trip with you all…I may be going to TAHITI!
