Hey, Everyone!
My fiancé and I have been so busy planning our wedding that we temporarily forgot how obsessed we are with travel. I can’t believe I haven’t been anywhere since last year in September when we visited Croatia and Italy. That’s why I’m glad we were able to get away recently for a quick romantic weekend at The Caravelle Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Ideally, I would have liked for the temperatures to be higher than they were. It didn’t matter much to me though. Nothing beats going to the beach! I was also excited to be staying in one of the newly renovated rooms at The Caravelle Resort. You’ll get a peek at some of the new features in just a moment, but I’d first like to give you a little background information about the resort.
After being built in 1960, The Caravelle Resort quickly became known as a landmark in the area. The location is perfect! If you’ve never heard of the famed “Golden Mile” in Myrtle Beach, then I can tell you, it’s the place to be! You’re basically within walking distance of everything from Golfing to Dining and more. The resort has also recently renovated its main building, which is where we stayed, along with their onsite restaurant The Santa Maria. I have to say, the folks at The Caravelle Resort truly know how to treat a guest. They treated us so well we literally felt like superstars! Upon our arrival, we had a beautiful welcome bag filled with all kinds of goodies waiting for us with a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries!

Nice, right?! It gets better too. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking! I could see myself sitting on the patio for hours looking at this view.
We were so honored to be among some of the first guests to stay in one of the newly renovated suites. I can’t mention renovations without talking about The Santa Maria Restaurant. I had one of the best breakfast meals ever at this place. Judy made my waffle and omelet and both had my mouth watering they were so good! If you ever visit The Caravelle Resort, please make sure you see Judy!
DELICIOUS!
Needless to say, Caswell and I had a blast at The Caravelle Resort and throughout our stay in Myrtle Beach.
