While we continue to wait for warm weather to show it’s beautiful sun-shiny face up here in the North, I’m planning my wardrobe. I’ll definitely be wearing sweater vests this spring. One of my influencer friends from Dubai recently styled one on her Instagram and I was instantly hooked! I can’t believe it took me so long to catch on to this trend.
As I went on the hunt for the perfect sweater vest, I found some super cute ones! One thing to keep in mind is that sweater vests can be worn during any season. As long as the fabric and color match the season you’re in, you don’t have to limit yourself. I knew that I wanted something with a deep v-neck so I could allow myself the option to wear it by itself or with a crisp, white button-down shirt.
For my outfit, I styled Sandro’s Oversized Sleeveless Coatigan with my favorite pair of distressed denim jeans. I topped it all off with the Chisel 90 Mule by Studio Amelia, and my Chain Cassette bag is from Bottega Veneta.

I fell in love with that green color! They have this same sweater in an off-white color with black trim as well. I don’t think it has quite the same effect as the green but it’s still nice. What’s great about sweater vests is that you can easily dress them up or down. I styled mine with a pair of distressed jeans but I could have also opted for a nice pair of slacks, a pencil skirt with heels, or even a knee-length pair of shorts with loafers. The possibilities are endless! I can’t wait to find more ways to style this sweater. Don’t be surprised if you see me in it multiple times this spring!
